The European Union is the biggest and most developed integration market in the world up to now. Base on the Maastricht Treaty, the European Union has established the unified market access management system for auto product and matched technical regulation system. The EU type approval system, as one of the two approval systems in the world, is the largest approval business requirements for the automotive export in China. Therefore, this paper focuses on the latest development of the EU automotive regulation in order to provide reference for China＇s auto industry in the field of auto approval regulation and research and study program.
