Current Situations and Countermeasures of Translation Teachings for English Majors in Local Undergraduate University

翻译是英语专业核心必修课程之一,翻译能力是学生英语综合运用能力的体现。阐述英语专业翻译课程教学的现状及存在问题,提出改善翻译课程建设及教学的策略,优化翻译课程设置及教学,进一步帮助学生提高翻译能力。

Translation is one of the key compulsory courses for English majors,while translation competence is a reflection of students＇ English comprehensive proficiency. The current situations of translation course and problems in its teaching are illustrated in the paper,and solutions to the enhancement of translation course are explored to help students improve their translation competence by pursuing more proper curriculum and better teachings.
