语境多元化意识与身份建构对英语学习影响的对比研究

摘要 采用主观投射测试方法,考查我国大学生在不同的语境下对英语变体的识别度。研究对象为国内高校大学生与在国外的交换生及留学生。测试材料为一段关于美国总统竞职演说,此段测试材料与量表通过电子邮件方式发放给被测试者,要求研究对象匿名填写。每个量表提供英国、美国、澳大利亚、加拿大、新西兰、印度、新加坡、菲律宾以及中国等几个国家选项,选项中包括6位发音人国家。结果显示:国外的研究对象对发音人国籍正确判断率比国内高,说明语境多元化与中国英语学习者的语音辨识及应用能力呈显著正相关。 Subjective projection test method is used to investigate the recognition degree on English variants for English college students in different contexts. The research objects are domestic college students and foreign exchange students. The test material is a speech of the United States presidential contest. The test materials and scales are distributed to the subjects by e-mail asking them to fill out the study anonymously. Each scale provides options for several countries,including the United Kingdom,the United States,Australia,Canada,New Zealand,India,Singapore,the Philippines and China,with six speaker countries included. The result shows that the correct judgment rate of the nationality of the speaker in foreign countries is higher than that of the domestic one,which shows that there is a significant positive correlation between the diversity of context and the speech recognition and application ability of Chinese EFL learners.
