地理环境认知体验性决定“窗”与“门”英汉语义价值对比及教学中的思辨培养

摘要 体验性原则是认知语言学中的基石性原则之一,而地理环境是人产生的最直接、最客观的认知体验。每个语言民族对各自地理环境各项因素的认知体验,必然渗透到主观认知中,并最终反映在语言现象上,语义价值就是最直观、最集中的反映之一。从英国和中国所处的地理环境出发,抓住对地理环境体验性的显著差异这个确凿的客观根源,以窗与门为典型证据,对比分析英汉语义价值上存在的显著差异,最终解释地理环境体验性对语义价值的决定性作用。对比分析的思维路径和例证,可应用于英语教学,启发思辨意识,培养思辨能力。 Experience is the basic principle in cognitive linguistics and each nation has the most direct and objectiveexperience from their geographic features. Such experience will penetrate into their subjective cognition andreflected from their languages,of which semantic value is the most distinctive sample. Starting from the difference ofgeographic features between England and China,the paper aims to find how the experience of geographic featurestake effect on the semantic value of two languages with the typical example of "window" and "door". The patternand examples in the comparative analysis are recommended to be applied in English teaching to trigger the dialecticalthinking of students.
