In the 1930s,the poet Bian Zhilin＇s poetry was famous in poetry for his combination of the characteristicsof Chinese traditional classical poetics and the techniques of modern western poetry.Especially in the application oftraditional poetic imagery,it shows rich classical meaning.This paper analyzes the classical connotation of Bian Zhilin＇spoetry by examples.
