It is not hard to find when reading Marxist theoretical classics that the principle of people＇s livelihood （basic conception of Marxism）, the vision of people＇s livelihood （theoretical construction） and the concerns of people＇s livelihood （theory. expansion） are all infiltrated in it. In the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, ＂a better life＂ was mentioned for 13 times, demonstrating the contemporary understanding and value pursuit of the people＇s livelihood in the process of the Chinese people from standing up to becoming richer and stronger. There is highly consistent theoretical starting point, development main line and ultimate value between Marx＇s outlook on people＇s livelihood and ＂a better life＂. It is necessary and reasonable to understand a better life under the context of Marx＇s outlook on people＇s livelihood and build a better life under the guidance of Marx＇s outlook on people＇s livelihood. Marx＇s outlook on people＇ s livelihood starts the source of better life with realistic depth of practice and a people-oriented value, establishes a ＂feeling of gain＂ as the evaluation scale, regards ＂people-centered＂ as the core of people＇ s livelihood, and ＂realizing the free and comprehensive development of people＂ as value goals, and always focuses on the due concerns and actual response of ＂a better life＂.
