Ethylene glycol is the most basic raw material in petrochemical industry,and is mainly used in the production process of plasticizer,antifreeze and lubricant,and coatings and explosives and so on are also involved.It has a wide range of use.The production status and technological development of ethylene glycol were analyzed,the production technology of ethylene glycol was introduced.In comparison with different process,the way of synthesis of ethylene glycol from syngasl was put forward at the same time.
