This paper has mainly discussed the method of calculating the logistics parameters for the punching automation AS/RS of the automotive OEM. The planning of the punching automation AS/RS must first define the process and mode for automation improvement, and then analyze and calculate the three main logistics parameters based on production capacity and parts data, etc., so as to ascertain the relevant requirements for the capacity of the AS/RS. At the end, in combination with an empirical case of the factory H of the company D, the ettectiveness and scalability of the method are verified.
