According to the relevant regulations of shipowners, Det Norske Veritas （DNV） and IEC, and in view of the practicalproblems encountered in the actual design and installation process, this paper briefly describes the main points of electrical technolo鄄gy for Dana FPSO floating production oil storage （hereinafter referred to as FPSO）, in order to improve the design quality and ensurethe progress of the project.
