2018年是马克思200年诞辰,马克思、恩格斯撰写的《共产党宣言》发表170年,中国改革开放40年,马克思主义中国化最新成果——习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想在被写入《中国共产党章程》之后又被写入《中华人民共和国宪法》。纪念马克思,是为了学习马克思的精神;纪念马克思主义的创立,是为了继承和发展马克思主义;在21世纪,共产党人的使命是在创新中发展21世纪马克思主义、当代中国马克思主义,以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为行动指南,推进构建中华民族命运共同体、人类命运共同体。

The year of 2018 marked the 200th anniversary of Marx＇s birth, the 170th anniversary of the publication of ＂Commu- nist Manifesto＂ written by Marx and Engels, as well as the 40th anniversary of China＇s reform and opening up. It also witnessed the latest achievement in adapting Marxism to Chinese condition - Xi Jinping＇s socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, which has been written into the ＂Constitution of the Chinese Communist Party＂ and the ＂Constitution of the People＇s Republic of China＂ successively. The purpose of commemorating Marx is to study his spirit, and the commemoration of the establishment of Marxism is to inherit and develop it. The mission of Chinese communists is to develop Marxism in the 21st century and Marx- ism in contemporary China in an innovative way. It is also the aspiration of the communists to build a community with a shared future for Chinese nation and mankind at large under the guideline of Xi Jinping＇s socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
