云南边境地区跨国人口流动研究述评

A Review on the Transnational Flow of Population in Yunnan Border Regions

地处中国西南边疆的云南省与越南、老挝、缅甸三国接壤,跨国人口流动现象十分频繁,由此引起学术界的广泛关注,并取得了较为丰硕的研究成果。通过对学界关于云南边境地区跨国人口流动形成的动因、类型与特点、社会影响以及管理对策等方面研究成果的梳理回顾,提出要重视和加强我国与东南亚邻国跨国流动人口有效管理的合作机制以及云南边境地区外籍特殊群体、外籍人员的社会文化适应和近年来云南边境地区出现的"回流边民"现象的调查研究,为党和政府进一步加强边境地区事务管理、维护边疆和谐稳定提供决策参考。

Located in the southwestem frontier of China, Yunnan borders on Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. The frequent cross - border population flows in Yunnan border regions have drawn the attention of the academic circles and led to fruitful research results. The paper makes a review of the latest academic research outcomes about the motivations, types, characteristics, social influences and management countermeasures for the transnational flow of population in border areas in Yunnan. Then it proposes to strengthen studies on such issues as the cooperative mechanism of effective management of transnational migration of population between China and its neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, the social and cultural adaptation of special foreigner groups and foreign individuals in Yunnan border regions, as well as the ＂back flow of border region citizens＂ phenomenon that appears in re- cent years in Yunnan. It is hoped that the study can give some references for the Party and the government in improving the man- agement of border region affairs and maintaining the stability of the border regions.
