The Reasons,Characteristics and the Damage of Filial Piety Decay in Rural Areas of China

我国农村地区孝道式微的原因包括三个层面:道德滑坡与经济负担渐重的双重挤压,行孝未必得福报与不孝未必遭恶报的期盼失衡,智育优先与德育滞后的教育偏废;孝道式微呈现内在冲突性、历史性、历时性、非均衡性等规律;孝道式微的危害在于:瓦解传统的道德观念,导致部分老年人非正常死亡,延滞国家二孩政策的落实,妨碍和谐社会的建设,削弱国家的整合功能。

The three factors that lead to filial piety decay in the rural area of our country are as follows： the double squeeze of the decay of the traditional ethics and the increasing financial burden; the absence of correlative rules and regulations; and the poor publicity and backward education. Generally,the characteristics of filial piety decay are presented as intrinsically existed conflict,historical and diachronic traits and disequilibrium. Consequently,filial piety decay would subvert the traditional morality,lead to the abnormal death of some elders,impede the implementation of the second child policy of the country,hinder the construction of harmonious society,vanish the integration of the country.
