天主教徒王徵和《西儒耳目资》:从关学到天学

Wang Zheng and his Book Xiru Ermu Zi:from Guan School to the Theory of Heavens

比利时籍耶稣会传教士金尼阁在豫、晋、秦传教时,携带未成稿的《西儒耳目资》字典,关学名家王徵参与了该书的创作。王徵困惑的"天之所以命我",在"天学"中得到了解答。王徵在"关学"的思想基础上,发现和接受了"天学"包含的有助于中国社会摆脱困境的积极因素。与此同时,王徵并未放弃"关学",其"杀身成仁"也表明了他对儒家理念的认同。在王徵的思想世界中,体现了关学与天学的结合。

Nicolas Trigault, a Jesuit missionary from Belgium, preached Christianity in the provinces of Henan,Shanxi and Shaanxi. Trigault carried with himself an unpublished dictionary. Wang Zheng,a famous scholar of Guan School,participated in the compilation of this dictionary. His confusion of being sent by God was resolved in the Theory of Heavens. Based on the thoughts of Guan School,Wang Zheng discovered and accepted the positive factors for helping the Chinese society get out of predicaments. However,he didn＇t give up the Theory of Heavens,his perseverance reflected his acceptance of Confucian ideas,meanwhile,his thought could be regarded as a combination of both.
