摘要
英汉位移动词层次范畴具有不同规律:描述具体运动属性的英语下位层方式位移动词要远远丰富于汉语。这是位移事件的英汉词汇化模式差异在词汇上的体现。由于英语方式位移动词语义的繁杂以及对应汉语的词汇缺位,英语方式位移动词的掌握和运用是中国学生词汇教学的难点。本研究认为在课堂上除文字描述外,有必要通过其他辅助教学手段比如象似性手势教学、多模态教学以及语料库驱动教学来尽可能准确、全面地还原方式位移动词表述的位移事件,从而使学生更有效地掌握其语义和句法。
Variation of the lexicalization patterns in English and Chinese reflected in the vocabulary is that categorizations of manner of motion verbs have different rules: there are much more English subordinate manner of motion verbs which denote specific motion qualities than Chinese ones. Mastering and applying English manner of motion verbs is a difficult point in English vocabulary teaching for Chinese students,as a result of semantic complexity of English manner of motion verbs and lexeme gap of corresponding Chinese ones. This thesis proposes that besides words description,it is necessary to adopt other assisting teaching methods such as iconic gesture teaching,multi-modal teaching and corpus-driven teaching for the purpose of getting the whole and exact picture of motion event denoted by the verb and therefore acquiring its meaning and syntax effectively.
