The project-based teaching methodology is an important teaching mode in regional applied universities.After analyzing the background of teaching reform, teaching idea of project-based teaching is described. Taking the＂Theory and Application of GPS＂for example, the paper explores the content design and the evaluation mode ofproject-based teaching methodology. At last, the possible problems and the counter measures are put forward.
