The Role of PDGFs and PDGFRs in Colorectal Cancer

结直肠癌(CRC)在全世界范围内肿瘤患者发病率和死亡率中占有重要原因。有研究证明血管形成在CRC的发病机制中占有重要作用。在CRC的发展中肿瘤微环境相关的血管形成以及其涉及大量的信号分子仍是我们所面对的巨大挑战。血小板衍生生长因子(PDGFs)/血小板衍生生长因子受体(PDGFRs)信号通路在结肠癌中主要是通过靶向周细胞和血管平滑肌细胞参与血管生成。PDGFs/PDGFRs家族在CRC中起重要作用,可作为早期诊断和治疗的重要生物标志物。本文综述PDGF家族及其受体在结肠直肠癌发生中的作用,以及PDGF的活性形式与CRC早期诊断、肿瘤的分级和转移相关性。

Colorectal cancer （CRC） plays an important role in the morbidity and mortality of cancer patients worldwide. Studies have shown that the formation of blood vessels plays an important role in the pathogenesis of CRC. The development of CRC in tumor microenvironment-related angiogenesis and its involvement in a large number of signaling molecules remains a great challenge for us. In a large number of studies and literature, platelet-derived growth factors （PDGFs） and platelet-derived growth factors receptors （PDGFRs） signaling pathways have been shown to be mainly targeted in pericytes in colon cancer. And vascular smooth muscle cells participate in angiogenesis.The PDGFs/PDGFRs family plays an important role in CRC and can be used as early diagnosis and treatment of important biomarkers. This article describes the role of PDGF family and its receptors in the development of colorectal cancer, and the correlation between the active form of PDGF and the early diagnosis of CRC, tumor grade and metastasis.
