对沙拉汉“个人主义”的当代再审视

A Scrunity of Shanahan's “Individualism”from the Perspective of Contemporary China

自我的生成、个人主义的产生和发展,无疑有着深厚的生活根基和发展规律,这在以交换为基础的市场经济条件下,已然成为不争的事实。沙拉汉对西方文化语境中的"个人主义"的历史演变和现代境遇进行系统的勾勒与理性的审视,反思早已泛滥的"个人主义",对于建构当代人的价值系统,对于变化与大转型中的当代社会有一个恰当的理性定位,大有裨益。在推动社会发展的进程中,沙拉汉既促进"个人"的生成与发展,同时又避免"个人主义世界观"的危机的观点,是我们审视个人主义的当代意义之所在。

Underneath the birth and evolution of such concepts as "self"and "individualism"lies profound living basis and development laws,which has become an uncontroversial fact in the context of exchangebased market economy. This paper endeavors to conduct a systematic reflection and rational examination on the historical evolution and status quo of the concept of "individualism"which is derived from the Western cultural context and already over widespread. It is of vital importance to do so for the construction of modern Chinese value system which might be conductive for China to own an appropriate and rational positioning in the transitional period. In the modern era,it might be of great significance to promote the formation and development of "self"in the process of pushing forward social development,while in the meantime,to avoid the crisis of "individualistic world view".
