In the early years of new China, the reports of International Children's Day strongly advocated defending children's rights and protecting children's health, and propagating all kinds of celebrations in People's Daily, which was a model of publicity with strong ideological and political implications. The image of the "new children" of the new socialist and communist successors has been shaped, which was good for the construction and development of socialism in that period. In the process, the publicity model of pan-politicization and adultification was also contrary to the original intention of International Children's Day, and in the long run, it was not good for the healthy growth of children. Therefore, the idea of publicity of media should be improved and upgraded to make the children express their own thoughts in current coverage of children, so that the children can grow in a quality-oriented way.
