The formation of heavy polluted weather has internal and external causes, and fine particulate matter(PM2.5) is currently the pollutant that has the greatest impact on China's atmospheric environmental quality. From October 17 to 22, 2017, Xuzhou City experienced an atmospheric heavy pollution process. The process lasted for a long time and had a great influence on air quality. According to the meteorological conditions and air quality monitoring results during this period, the author analyzed and reached conclusions for reference only. The results show that dust and vehicle exhaust are the major sources of PM2.5 in the process of heavy pollution, and the proportion of biomass burning increases in the later period; Aromatic hydrocarbons in VOCs are important sources of secondary pollutants.
