秦可卿和香菱是曹雪芹在《红楼梦》中塑造的一"虚"一"实"两个特殊的人物。作者通过这两个人物,联缀着"太虚幻境"和"大观园"两个世界,统摄全书"虚"与"实"两个叙述层的结构,并通过这两个人物的命运象征贾府败亡和大观园众女子的悲剧性命运。

Qin Keqing and Xiang Ling are two special characters created by Cao Xueqin in A Dream of Red Mansions. Through these two characters, the author combines the two worlds of ＂Delu- sive Illusionary World＂ and ＂Grand View Garden＂, taking over the structure of the two narrative layers of ＂emptiness＂ and ＂reality＂ in the whole book, and symbolizes the decline of the Jia＇s family and the tragic fate of the women of the Grand View Garden through the fate of the two characters.
