摘要 Editor's note: The establishment of cultural centers, an important symbol of the development and deepening of cultural relations between countries, aims at strengthening bilateral cultural exchanges and cooperation and enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between people. China began to set up cultural centers overseas in the 1980s. Over the past 10 years, overseas China Cultural Centers have made great progress. So far, 35 China Cultural Centers have been built in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and Oceania. Their functions include national conditions promotion, dialogue on thoughts, cultural exchange, teaching and training and information services. For a long time, overseas China Cultural Centers have done a lot of work to build a platform for cultural communication and exchange and to tell Chinese stories well with satisfactory effects. Our journal, together with China Culture.org, interviewed directors of seven China Cultural Centers in Bangkok, Singapore, Benin, Mauritius, Madrid, Paris and Sydney and asked them to share their experience and characteristics of their activities in recent years.
