中柬跨国婚姻中的夫妻权力关系及其影响因素——以福建省松溪县为例

Family Power in the Transnational Marriage between Chinese Men and Cambodian Women and its Contributing Factors——A Case Study in Songxi County,Fujian Province

性别比失衡是当前中国面临的一个严峻的人口问题,"光棍"现象将可能成为中国未来面临的重大社会问题。但在全球化背景下,跨国界的人口流动增多,跨国婚姻逐渐盛行,正在成为伴随性别比失衡和"光棍"问题而出现的一个显著社会现象。特殊的婚姻形成方式使得跨国婚姻中的夫妻权力关系不同于一般婚姻家庭。文章基于对福建省松溪县的17对中国、柬埔寨跨国婚姻中的夫妻进行的深度访谈,分析了中柬跨国婚姻的夫妻关系,着重探究了中柬跨国婚姻中的夫妻权力关系及其影响因素。研究发现中柬跨国婚姻中的夫妻权力相互制衡,本土丈夫在夫妻权力中处于相对优势地位。社会文化规范的形塑和夫妻双方所占有的物质和情感资源的价值和稀缺性的差异是影响中柬跨国婚姻中的夫妻权力关系的主要因素。

Severe sex imbalance among its population is one of the greatest challenges China faces. A huge number of bachelors may lead to serious social problems in this country. Nevertheless,cross-border migration has been increasing significantly in the time of globalization. The growing prevalence of transnational marriage between Chinese men and foreign brides has helped to solve the sex imbalance problem in China. The family Power in the commercially-matched transnational marriages may be different from the case in usual marriage. Based on in-depth interviews in Songxi County,Fujian Province,this study focuses on the intimate relationships of 17 Chinese-Cambodian couples,particularly investigating the conjugal balance of power in the transnational marriage and its determinants. It is argued in this paper that Chinese husbands tend to have more marital power in this type of transnational family in general but there seems to have a mutual balance of power between Chinese husbands and their Cambodian wives at the same time. The social and cultural norms and the differences in the comparative resources of the husband and wife,especially the value and scarcity of the material and emotional resources the husband and wife own,mainly determine the conjugal balance of power in the transnational marriage between Chinese men and Cambodian women.
