Research on Item Response Theory Applied in Language Testing

项目反应理论(item response theory)是一种指导项目筛选和测验编制的现代心理测量理论。通过对众多的国内外文献,包括ProQuest全球论文网、Language Testing期刊及国内外语专业期刊中有关项目反映理论在语言测试应用研究中成果的梳理,系统探讨了项目反应理论在语言测试中应用模型、应用范围和项目分析的具体热点、研究动态。首先归纳总结出项目反应理论模型在语言测试中应用的种类、项目、任务以及所分析的因素和相关软件应用情况;然后将国际语言测试专业期刊《Language Testing》自1984年创刊至2016年的文献划分为4个阶段,对每个阶段的应用情况进行动态分析,并对其文章的话题和研究内容进行分析;继而对国内外语类主要期刊IRT文章进行统计,并对其主要内容进行分析;最后探讨了项目反应理论在国际语言测试应用研究的趋势以及对我国外语测试研究的启示。

Item Response Theory is a kind of modern psychological measurement theory guiding the item selection and test establishment.Based on domestic and foreign literature about IRT Theory applied in Language Testing,including the research achievements of Pro-Quest net and journal of Language Testing,as well as the publications in the major domestic foreign Language professional journals,the authors explore systematically the IRT models applied in Language Testing：it＇s scope of application,research hotspots in item analysis and the research dynamic.The authors first make the chart and the table illustrating the types of IRT models utilized in language testing＇s items,tasks,factors to be analyzed,and software used.Then,the authors divide the IRT documents in Language Testing in the period from 1984 to 2016 into four stages,making dynamic analysis for each stage and the details analysis on the topics and the research contents.Furthermore,the authors do statistic and analysis on the main contents of IRT papers published in the major domestic foreign language.Finally,the paper discusses the trends that IRT used in the international language testing research and its implication to our language testing.
