郑国藩《似园诗存》述评

A Review of Zheng Guofan's Si Garden Poems

郑国藩是清末民初潮州的著名学者,其诗亦为粤东名家,有诗集《似园诗存》存世。其诗特色可概括为:乐唱酬、喜次韵,擅各体、精锤炼。郑国藩的诗,多有关乎当日潮州史事者,堪称诗史。其凭吊金山马发墓诸诗,与辛亥革命前后潮州之史事密切相关,两相印证,可以了解当日潮州之实况,以及潮州士人鼎革之际的心态。

Zheng Guofan was a well-known scholar in the late Qing Dynasty in Chaozhou.His poetry was famous in Chaoshan area and he had the poetry anthology Si Garden Poems.The characteristics of his poems are as follows：being fond of singing and social intercourse,writing and replying in poems according to original poem’s rhyming words,being precise and condensed,being good at all kinds of poetic forms.Most of Zheng Guofan’s poems are associated with historical events in Chaozhou,and are comparable to epics.His poems such as paying homage to the grave of Mafa on the Golden Hill is associated with the history of Chaozhou in the Revolution of 1911.Through the support of each other,we can understand the situation of Chaozhou at that time and the mindset of literati during the revolution.
