期刊编辑数据素养研究——以B学报近年来载文情况为例

Study on Data Quality of Journal Editors: Taking the Articles Published in B University Journal from 2001 to 2016 as an Example

在当今信息化时代的发展背景下,信息化数据科学的资源性特点逐渐显露,数据科学在编辑学中有广泛应用。编辑的数据素养主要是指数据意识、数据技能和数据文化。对B高校学报2001―2016年载文情况的统计数据表明,近期该期刊影响因子会有所提升,但在0.25附近波动;总被引频次有提升的空间;总被他引频次将会稳步增长;Web即年下载率将会在50%附近波动。学报质量优势的保持容不得半点虚假和怠慢,需要精心经营。学报编辑应该自觉培养自身的科学数据意识,具备一定的数据素养,以适应大数据时代的挑战。

Under the background of today＇s information age, the resource characteristics of information data science are emerging, and data science is also widely applied in editing. The editor＇s data quality mainly refers to data awareness, data skills and data culture. Based on the statistical data related items on papers published in B journal during the years 2003 – 2016, it shows that the recent impact factor of the journal is being improved, but fluctuates near 0.25; the total citation frequency has potential possibility of improvement; the total citation times by the others grow steadily; yearly Web download rate will fluctuate near 50%. The quality of the journal is not allowed to be false and snubbing and it needs careful management so as to get rich harvest. Journal editors should consciously cultivate their own awareness of scientific data and have certain data quality in order to adapt to the challenges of the era of big data.
