基于凯文·林奇城市意象的乡村意象内涵探讨与特征研究

On Connotation and Features of Rural Image Based on Kevin Lynch's City Image Concept

凯文·林奇开启西方城市意象研究的时代背景包括学界对于城市地理学量化研究方法的质疑、对于现代主义的早期批判、对于城市视觉品质的关注,而当前我国乡村风貌现状中存在的传统乡村意象迷失与风貌品质下降的情况,与上世纪中叶欧美发达国家城市建设中的总体状况具有一定程度的类同性。在对于近年来国内乡村意象及其相关概念的内涵讨论的基础上,借鉴凯文·林奇的城市意象概念的特征内核,提出乡村意象概念的本质特征应包括类型多样性、主体多元化、要素多类型、形式丰富性、感知全息化、传播方式多介质和研究目标多重性。

The historical background of the studies on western city image started by Kevin Lynch includes the doubts about the quantitative research method used to study urban geography,early criticism against modernism and attention to city visual quality in academic community.In China,however,current rural image has lost its transitional features and the image quality is declining,which is somewhat similar to the overall situation of urban construction in many developed countries in Europe and America in the middle of the last century.Based on the discussion of the connotation of China＇s rural image and some relevant concepts and using for reference the core features of Kevin Lynch＇s city image concept,this paper puts forward that the substantive feature of rural image should include variety of types,diversification of main bodies,richness in forms,holography of perception,multimedium of transmitting mode,and multiplicity of research objects.
