摘要
网络仿真是研究和评估MAC协议性能的重要途径之一。本文首先概要地介绍了基于IEEE 802.11 DCF接入协议的帧聚合机制,通过Markov建模给出了使用帧聚合机制后的网路吞吐量分析表达式。进而详细介绍了如何使用NS-2平台来实现IEEE 802.11帧聚合机制。最后,利用文中设计的NS-2仿真平台对IEEE 802.11帧聚合机制进行性能仿真和评估,仿真结果与理论分析相符,进一步验证了仿真平台的有效性,因而可被广泛应用于分布式无线网络的MAC协议研究中。
Network simulation is playing an important role in the study and evaluation of MAC protocol.In this paper,frame aggregation scheme based on IEEE 802.11 DCF is firstly outlined,and then the analysis of system throughput of frame aggregation scheme is presented based on Markov modelling.Further,based on NS-2 simulator,implementation of frame aggregation scheme is introduced in detail.Finally,the performance verification of IEEE 802.11 frame aggregation is conducted on the proposed NS-2 simulation platform. The simulation results are identical with the theoretical analysis,and thus the validity of simulation platform is verified,so it can be widely used in the research of MAC protocol in distributed wireless networks.
