摘要
美国社会的核心价值观是建立在个人主义基础上的,美国国民教育活动围绕其核心价值观展开,旨在培养符合美国社会发展需要的各类人才,促进多元化、多样性并以个人利益追求为主导的美国社会的整合和可持续发展。我国社会的核心价值观是建立在中国优秀传统文化基础上,以集体主义为基础的。全球化背景下,我国可以借鉴美国国民教育的有益成果,从协调并统一国家、社会、学校、家庭等层面的价值观培育和评价体系,改应试教育为应用教育,促进教育公平,提升农村义务教育水平,重视教育多元化发展,强调社会参与等方面进行教育改革。
The value of American society is established on the basis of individualism. The national education activities were launched around this value. The core value of our society is established on the basis of excellent traditional Chinese culture and collectivism. We can draw lessons from American experience. Education reform should be carried out from following aspects: coordinating and unifying values cultivation and evaluation system including state,society,school and family,changing the exam-oriented education for applied education,promoting equity in education,improving rural compulsory education and emphasizing education and community participation.
