在新时代,我国经济社会不断发展,人民群众的物质生活越来越丰富,精神文明建设硕果累累。但也出现了一部分人,尤其是少数党员干部丧失理想信念、深陷拜金主义、堕入贪污腐败等精神贫困的问题。造成精神贫困最主要的思想根源是拜物教。我们要实现精神富裕,就必须高度重视精神贫困问题,以唯物史观、马克思破除拜物教思想为指导,确立劳动光荣思想,坚定共产主义的理想信念,走出拜物教思想的影响。

The new age witnessed the continual development of our economy and society with the abundance of people's material life and fruitful accomplishments of cultural civilization. However, some people, especially some Party membersand cadres, were caught with spiritual poverty of losing ideal and faith, and falling into fetishism and corruption. Fetishism is the major ideological rootfor spiritual poverty while Marx profoundly uncovered the essence of fetishism. To bring about spiritual abundance, we should highly stress the problemof spiritual poverty, adhere to historical materialism and Marx's guidance of anti-fetishism, establish the thought of glorious labor, and uphold communism as the ideal and faith to rid of the shadow of fetishism.
