It classified statistics of the bird hazard accidents on 220 kV transmission lines in shenyang since 2008. It analyses the characteristics of time,region and operation mode of the bird hazard accident. It describes the process of bird accident in detail and analyses the existing problems of bird proofing work. It points out the working direction of next stage of bird prevention in management,operation and technology. It provides important reference to improve the reliability of transmission lines in Shenyang.
