In the context of engineering education goals, taking the course of ＂Elastic Wave Theory＂ as an example, a teachingmodel based on project tasks as the carrier and inquiry learning as the main method is proposed. Through in-depth analysis of thecharacteristics of the ＂Elastic Wave Theory＂ curriculum and the problems in teaching, reforms are carried out in terms of teachingcontent, teaching methods, teaching means, and assessment methods, which can effectively train and evaluate students＇ engineering capabilities. The teaching reform provides some thoughts.
