Production Benefit of Watermelon in Beijing

大兴区和顺义区是北京市两个主要的西瓜产区,西瓜生产对于当地农业发展具有重要作用。基于相关调查数据,对大兴区和顺义区西瓜生产成本效益进行实证分析,发现影响北京市西瓜生产效益的主要因素有直接投入因子、培训因子、种苗因子、销售维护因子、固定投入因子。综合分析两大主产区因子得分情况,发现北京市西瓜生产存在种苗结构不合理、销售环节薄弱、现代农业服务体系不健全等问题。从解决西瓜生产的实际问题入手提出了北京市西瓜生产提质增效、瓜农增收的推进路径。

Daxing district and Shunyi district are the main watermelon producing areas in Beijing, and watermelon production plays an important role in the development of local agriculture. Based on relevant survey data, the authors made an empirical analysis on the cost and benefit of watermelon production in Daxing district and Shunyi district, then found that main factors influencing the production benefit of watermelon in Beijing included direct input factor, training factor, seedling factor, sales and maintenance factor and fixed input factor.A comprehensive analysis of the factor scores of the two main watermelon producing areas showed that there were many problems in watermelon production in Beijing, such as unreasonable seedling structure, weak sales links, imperfect modern agricultural service system and so on. Starting from solving practical problems in watermelon production, the authors proposed the way of improving the quality and efficiency of the watermelon production and increasing the income of watermelon farmer in Beijing.
