摘要
回声问是言语交际中的普遍现象,其重要性日益受到关注。但是,对回声问的研究不够充分、系统,医患门诊会话中回声问的语用修辞功能更鲜有关注。本文以自然发生的医患门诊会话为语料,重点考察回声问在医患门诊互动中的语用修辞功能,即要求证实、要求解释、语篇构建、语境制约和人际情感5种功能,进一步分析回声问的语用修辞效果,以求深化对回声问的认识,并为医患交际实践提供一些启示。
Echo questions are prevalent rather than marginalized in verbal conversation. Researchers have increasingly realized the importance of echo questions in both daily life communication and institutional interaction. However,previous studies on echo questions are not sufficient and systemic,with little focusing on the pragma-rhetoric functions of echo questions in outpatient departments in Chinese hospitals. This paper investigates the pragma-rhetoric functions of echo questions in naturally-occurring doctorpatient conversation in Chinese outpatient departments,that is,requesting confirmation,requesting explanation,constructing text,constraining context,expressing interpersonal emotions,in order to have a further understanding of echo questions and provide some implications for doctor-patient interaction.
