摘要
中国经济在＂十二五＂期间取得新的重大成就,成为西方媒体争相报道的焦点。本文从语料库辅助话语分析角度,利用语料库在线分析工具Sketch Engine对2011至2015年英国媒体有关中国经济发展的新闻报道进行话语分析,探索英国媒体对＂十二五＂期间中国经济话语构建的态度倾向,并分析这种倾向背后的意识形态及社会原因。研究发现,英国媒体在构建中国经济话语时态度复杂且矛盾,并通过议题转移策略借环境问题质疑中国经济发展,集中构建一个要经济不要环保的负面＂经济大国＂形象。
China＇s quick economic growth from 2011 to 2015 has become a hot topic on which the Western press feels worthy of considerable focus. This paper aims to identify the attitudes of UK press towards China＇s economic growth（2011-2015） and the various social or ideological reasons by using the method of Corpus-assisted Discourse Studies（ CADS）. Drawing on the salient linguistic patterns identified by Sketch Engine,we find that the attitudes of UK press are very complicated. Through transferring of issues,the UK press criticizes China＇s pursuit of economic growth at the price of environmental pollution and constructs a negative image of China for its imbalance between economic growth and environmental protection.
