As one of the duopoly of the internet industry in China, Alibaba's annual investment has already outstripped a majority of investment organizations. While its old rival Tencent gives high priority to financial investment, Alibaba, however, is committed to serving for strategic objectives rather than financial investment, which is admired by its CEO Zhang Yong.The strategic objective invested by Alibaba aims to create an extensive network blending online and offline retailing, in which almost all links and situations of retailing have been or are being included. If retailers are outside the ecosystem of Alibaba, their degree of synergy and efficiency of resource allocation will be greatly reduced.Therefore, the enterprises invested by Alibaba are ultimately purchased by Alibaba itself, such as UC, Amap, Youku, Yintai, Hema and Eleme. Being sifted out after Alibaba's acquisition, is it the fate of those founders?
