The present situation of panicle size analysis of dust or other particles is analyzed, and several common methods used in laboratory （screening method, microscope method, sedimentation method, laser method, etc.） have been summarized. Through the analysis of their principle, advantages and disadvantages and the applicable conditions, especially in the mine dust particle size distribution measurement method, it is summarized thatthe most suitablegrain size measurement method shouht be chosen according to the specific experimental needs, the cost and accuracy.
