Mirco RNA是一种基因表达的调节剂,其表达的改变导致癌基因的激活或肿瘤抑制基因的失活。星形细胞上调基因-1（AEG-1）被认为是一种癌基因,具有调节各种人类癌症中的细胞增殖、转移、转化、血管生成和放化疗抗性等,已经在乳腺癌、肝癌、前列腺等多种癌细胞中发现过表达,且与肿瘤进展相关的PI3K-AKT、NF-κB、MAPK和Wnt多种信号通路中发挥作用。miR-1297是一种具有肿瘤抑制作用的mirco RNA,其抑制或过表达影响与肿瘤增殖、侵袭有关的AEG-1、PTEN、Meg3等基因。

Mirco RNA is a modulator of gene expression. The changes of its expression may result in activation of oncogenes or inactivation of tumor suppressor genes. AEG-1 is an oncogene that regulates cell proliferation,metastasis,transformation,angiogenesis,and resistance to chemoradiotherapy in a variety of human cancers. The over-expression of AEG-1 has been detected in breast cancer,liver cancer,prostate and other cancer cells,which plays a critical role in tumor-associated signaling pathways,such as PI3 K-AKT,NF-k B,MAPK and Wnt. Mi R-1297 is thought as a tumor suppressor mirco RNA,its inhibition or over-expression may affect tumor proliferation and invasion related genes,like AEG-1,PTEN,Meg3 and others.
