Significance and Postoperative Effects Assessment of Cochlear Implantation in Presbycusis

老年性聋是老年人发病率较高的疾病之一,给老年人的心理健康、生活质量及社会活动带来了不良影响。随着生活水平的改善,人群寿命延长,人口老龄化加剧,患病人数将进一步增加,老年性聋造成的问题进一步凸显。人工耳蜗植入技术是治疗重度及极重度感音神经性聋的重要措施,能帮助老年人重回有声世界,近些年来人工耳蜗植入技术在儿童中的运用已比较成熟,但在治疗老年性聋方面报道不多。本文通过检索国内外相关文献报道,对老年性聋人工耳蜗植入术后效果评估及意义进行综述。

Presbycusis, with high incidence, has a great adverse effect on the mental health, quality of life and social activity of the elderly. The problems caused by presbycusis are highlighted with the aging of the population intensified and the number of sick patients will be increased. Cochlear implant techniques are an important method for the treatment of severe and profound sensory nerve deafness which can help the elderly to return to the sound world and reintegrate into the normal society. Cochlear implants in children have been commonly used in recent years, but less in elderly with presbycusis. We reviewed the articles at domestic and abroad to better understand the significance and postoperative effects assessment of cochlear implantation in presbycusis.
