Network Science:An Innovative Thinking Paradigm in Network Era

摘要 认识与理解复杂网络系统的结构与功能是当前复杂性科学研究的一大挑战。网络科学为人们提供了解决这类难题的新思维范式。在各领域研究学者的共同努力下,网络科学取得了众多激动人心的成果,也越来越广泛地应用于工程技术领域,逐渐形成了一门较为成熟的学科。 One of the key subjects in current complexity science is to understand the structure and function of complex systems. Network science provides a novel thinking paradigm to solve this kind of problems. Joint efforts of scholars from different research fields have contributed to such understanding, and a relatively mature discipline as well as its application in engineering may gradually grow based on the efforts.
