Dash-wedge diagram and Newman projection are two important conformational and stereoscopic structure expressions. This article summarizes students＇ difficulties and conversion skills in the transition process to help students achieve accurate conversions between the two expressions. In addition, the article also introduces a new type of modified Newman projection representation, which shows a certain superiority compared with the traditional one.
