摘要
本文提出了一种千兆以太网MAC控制器的设计方法,实现了多路载波侦听/冲突检测(CSMA/CD)的传输机制和基于暂停帧的全双工流量控制;采用基于描述符的DMA结构,提高了数据传输的并行度,实现了以太网高带宽、低延时的数据传输。
This paper presents a Gigabit Ethernet MAC controller design which realizes the transmission mechanism of carrier sense multiple access with collision detection (CSMA/CD) and the flow control based on pause frame. With the DMA based descriptor linked list, the Design improves ihe transfer parallelism, and realizes the high bandwidth and low delay characteristic of Ethernet transmission.
