Dear Editor,We read with interest your recent article on the impact of combined oral contraceptives on ocular tissues.We report a case of a branch retinal vein occlusion（BRVO）associated with use of an etonogestrel/ethinyl estradiol vaginal ring（NuvaR ing）,an implantable combined hormonal contraceptive,in a young healthy female with no other identifiable risk factors.
