中国高等教育服务贸易影响因素实证分析——基于学历生与非学历生视角

Empirical Analysis of Factors Influencing China's Tertiary Educational Service Trade:The Perspective of Degree and Non-Degree Students

本文是基于对1999—2015年来华留学人数排名前30位的国家进行统计分析,将来华留学生细分为学历生和非学历生作为因变量,基于其他学者的研究选取了国内外六个影响因素,分别是奖学金、我国与生源国人均GDP差额,我国与生源国贸易额,生源国人口数量,往届生影响以及地理距离等。运用30个国家的面板数据,通过stata计量方法处理数据,分析结果显示:地理距离、奖学金、往届生、我国与生源国贸易额对来华留学的学历生有显著影响;我国与生源国人均GDP差额、我国与生源国贸易额、往届生对来华留学的非学历生有显著影响。

The article adopts statistical analysis of the data of foreign students from the top 30 countries who study in China from 1999 to 2015. The foreign students studying in China are divided into degree and non-degree pursuit students as the dependent variable. Based on the research of other scholars, six influential factors are selected, namely, the scholarship, the difference of per capita GDP between China and the students＇ country of origin, the trade volume between the two countries, the population of the students＇ country of origin, the influence of previous students from the countries of origin and the geographical distance between the two. The Stata is used for the analysis of the panel data of the 30 countries. The results are the following： four factors have significant impacts on foreign students studying in China for degree pursuit---geographical distance, scholarship, previous students influence, trade volume difference between China and the countries of origin; three factors have significant impacts on non-degree foreign students studying in China---the difference of per capita GDP between China and the country of origin, trade volume difference between the two, previous students influence.
