On Xi Jinping's Historical View of the Ideology of Chinese Characteristic Socialism in the New Era

党的十八大以来,习近平注重运用马克思主义唯物史观,系统考察、分析、论证和阐述事关中国特色社会主义的基本理论与实践问题的历史渊源、现实基础及未来趋势,形成了完整的治国理政历史观。习近平强调领导干部要提高历史思维能力,即以史为鉴、知古鉴今,善于运用历史眼光认识发展规律、把握前进方向、指导实际工作的能力。

Since the convention of the 18＇h national congress of CPC, Xi Jinping has emphasized to apply the Marxist historical materialism to systematically investigate,analyze, argument and illuminate the historical origin of basic theories and practical problems of Chinese characteristic socialism, the realistic basics and the future tendency. It forms comprehensively historical view of state governing and regime ruling. President Xi does maintain that the leading cadres should enhance the historical thinking ability through taking the history as a mirror,judging the present by knowing the past,being adept in realizing the law of development, steering the heading direction and conducting the practical working ability with a historical perspective.
