The reorganization and integration of Shenhua Group and China Guodian Corporation into the National Energy Investment Group is a case of integration of central enterprises with very high attention in the field of coal and electricity in 2017.This paper introduces the macro background of the reorganization and integration of the two enterprises,as well as the characteristics of the way of promotion,control and development. And discusses the significance of reorganization and integration for coal and electricity joint ventures,＂de-capacity＂,cross-border development of coal companies and the cultivation of new industries. Suggestions on further reorganization and integration of coal and electricity enterprises are proposed from the aspects of integration subjects,transformation development and technological progress.
