Role of Ideological and Political Education in the Campus Traffic Safety

随着高校校园面积、规模、师生数量、电动车和小汽车等不断增加,大学校园内交通事故也有所上升,这给高校校园的稳定与和谐带来极大的威胁。如何有效降低大学校园交通事故的发生,强化大学生的思想政治教育是一个非常有效的途径。研究认为,思想教育能够有效引导大学生对突发事件的舆论导向,有利于交通事故事中、事后各方的协调处理。通过以典型交通事故警示强化大学生交通安全意识,规范校园道路规划及大学生日常出行行为,强化电动车及机动车驾驶者安全驾驶意识,可以有效预防和减少大学校园交通事故发生,促进校园交通安全。

The increasing of traffic accidents at campus has become a very serious social issues with the development of university campus scale, the number increasing of vehicles, and the booming of teachers/ students as well. To change the trend and reduce campus traffic and transportation accidents, it is an effective approach to use ideological and political education for students and teachers in universities. By putting ideological and political work into the campus traffic education, it will contribute effectively to deal with the campus traffic accidents, timely to guide public opinions, and better prevent the traffic accident occurrence as well, in terms of campus traffic safety consciousness, campus traffic planning, daily traffic behaviour education, especially on electric vehicle and car drivers.
