This paper summarizes the efforts in internationalizing special education by Mr. Xu Bailun and the Golden Key Education Research Centre for Special Education. The study found that the research centre carried out international cooperation and exchange mainly through international cooperation project of visually impaired children＇ s education, fieldwork of domestic and international education for the visually impaired, international academic exchanges, the establishment of the international fellowships and scholarships, international publicity and liaison activities and other forms. It has formed the core volunteering spirit of safeguarding special children＇ s equal fight to receive education to condense international resources ; it adopts the introductioncreation model to carry out the study practice of visually impaired children learning in regular class; and strives for the widest social support with flexible international exchange and cooperation.
