In particular, the neo-Confucian poets could have choices and take distinctive poetical writing styles while they composed poems with the theme of ＂Confucius and Hui＇ s Cheerfulness＂. To understand the poetic theme and writing styles of ＂Confucius and Hui＇ s Cheerfulness＂ and the difference of contents and expressions in neoonfucianism, poetics and poem composition is helpful for us to improve our knowledge about the relationship between the neoConfucianism and the poetry in the two Song Dynasties and also helps us to form the describing perspective and to take the standpoint for writing our contemporary history of literature.
