美国高校图书馆开放获取作者基金项目的实践与启示

The Practice and Enlightenment of Open Access Author Fund in American Academic Libraries

为了推动开放获取出版的可持续发展,美国高校图书馆推出了开放获取作者基金项目,让开放获取期刊获得可持续的资金保障。文章介绍了美国高校图书馆开放获取作者基金项目的概况,分析了该项目的主要内容和特点,最后提出了我国高校图书馆开展开放获取作者基金项目的建议和启示。设立开放获取作者基金项目为国内高校图书馆直接参与开放获取出版提供了良好的契机。

In order to promote the sustainable development of open access publication,the American academic libraries have launched the Open Access Author Fund to let open access journals gain sustainable financial security. This paper introduces the overview of Open Access Author Fund projects in American academic libraries,and then analyzes the main research contents and characteristics of the project. Finally,the authors give some suggestions for developing the Open Access Author Fund projects in Chinese academic libraries. The authors believes that this is a good opportunity for academic libraries to involve directly open access publication.
