直射切伦科夫光鉴别宇宙线重成分模拟研究

摘要 为适应高海拔宇宙线观测站(LHAASO)提高宇宙线的成分重建精度以及精确测量宇宙线的分成分能谱的需求,模拟研究了直射切伦科夫光和直射切伦科夫光方法的特性,为重核的重建提供一种不依赖于强相互作用模型的方法。在广角切伦科夫望远镜阵列(LHAASO-WFCTA)设置下,模拟研究了直射切伦科夫光方法在重荷鉴别当中的应用。研究表明,直射切伦科夫光方法可用于LHAASO中,可提高宇宙线重成分的重建精度。 In order to meet the need of LHAASO(The Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory) to improve the compositional reconstruction accuracy of cosmic rays and to accurately measure individual elements energy spectrum of cosmic rays,the simulation of the characteristics of the direct Cherenkov light and direct Cherenkov light methods was studied,which provides a method that does not depend on the strong interaction model for the reconstruction of heavy nuclei. In addition,under the setting of WFCTA telescope,the application of direct Cherenkov light method in the discrimination of heavy nuclei was studied. The study suggests the direct Cherenkov light method can be used in LHAASO to improve the reconstruction accuracy of cosmic ray heavy components.
